DO YOU HAVE A MINYAN? 

Friday Night:  Kabbalat Shabbat 6:30 followed by dinner. 

Shabbat morning services: 10:00 - 11:30 AM followed by lunch.

Daily Minyan: Subject to the season, contact the Rabbi for questions about the Minyan, to find out the times for weekday Mincha/Marriv or if you need to say Kaddish.


IS THERE KOSHER FOOD ON ISLAND?

Chabad has the islands only Kosher catering service Click here for more information.

Local Supermarkets carry many basic products with international kosher symbols (bagels, cereals, mayonnaise, chips, canned foods etc.).

The upscale Massy Gourmet has a huge variety of Kosher food. (Located a few minutes from Chabad)

There are no Cholov Yisroel products in the local supermarkets.

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD INTO S. LUCIA?

Yes.

If you are considering bringing dairy products, fish products or any breads and crackers you generally should not have a problem. 

Meat may be brought into the island providing it's fresh, chicken is officially not allowed. (Cooked meat is usually allowed in as well)

IS THERE A MIKVAH?

Currently, there is no mikvah on island. However, should you need to use the mikvah during your stay please contact Mrs. Sternie Super at sternie@chabadsl.com.

IS THERE A JEWISH COMMUNITY IN S. LUCIA?

Yes! Like many other Caribbean islands, our island is blessed with a small and growing Jewish community, made up of locals and second homeowners.

 

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS 

We have a Hebrew School on island every Wednesday, for more info or to enroll please contact us.

Whether you are just visiting or you are a local resident, children of all ages are welcome to join!
